| Project Postweg: Art Along the Way Art in the Public Domain, Mobility and Town Identity Along the Postweg in the Municipality of Rheden. A 4-day multi-disciplinary workshop for ArtEZ post-graduates As a result of the (traffic) reconstruction of the Postweg in the municipality of Rheden the Alliantie Foundation has presented ArtEZ with a pilot project. This pilot was initially presented to Bas Maters, artist and coördinator of OK5 (ArtEZ Department of Art in the Public Domain). A consortium of ArtEZ teachers from OK5, Academie voor Bouwkunst, Dutch Art Institute (DAI), and the European Masters Landscape Architecture have developed a 4-day workshop for students from the participating academies to develop plans and projects along the Postweg route. From May 19-24 2004 students were invited to participate in the workshop and work together with guest lecturers in a product-oriented investigation of the Postweg at Rheden.
