OPEN DAIzzz

On May 25, 26, 27 2005 from 10.00-18.00 at the Dutch Art Institute (DAI), in the AKI building on the campus of the UT, Enschede.

Our very international student body will open their studios to the public. The works they will be showing were selected by curator Lisette Smits (director of Casco in Utrecht from 1995 till 2005) and they represent the variety of artistic practices present at the DAI.

During the OPEN DAIzzz we present an ongoing program in the auditorium with lively talks and presentations by students, alumni, and lecturers informing you about projects realised by the DAI and her students. We will focus special attention on our recent collaborative projects that brought the DAI students to countries such as China, India, Iran and Turkey.
Home made food will be served in our Syrian-Bulgarian-Californian-Portugese-Kazachstani-Dutch-raw-food kitchen.

Young artists with an interest in our programmes are invited to combine their visit to the DAI with a consultation with one of the artists connected to our institute. We will be happy to have a look at your work and advise you about your postgraduate career.
