Lilet Breddels, editor of Volume magazine a project by Archis, AMO and C-Lab and projectleader of the Archis RSVP events.
Archis developed from a reflective Dutch architectural magazine into a cultural think tank creating agenda’s for spatial issues with:
- Archis Publishers – publisher of, amongst others, VOLUME on ‘architecture beyond itself’. A state of the art magazine that sets the design agenda.

- Archis Advice – consultancy concerning spatial issues

- Archis Interventions – a not for profit organisation dedicated to offer cultural help in restoring the public sphere (for instance after conflict). One of the main tools are the Archis RSVP events.

From 2004 onwards Archis organised 10 RSVP events, responsed based events which format is largely based on the response and amount of participants. Last event was in November 2006 in Beirut. Breddels will talk about the experiences with the RSVP events with special focus on Beirut. Please read the attached document containing an invitation for the upcoming Pearls for Lebanon meeting at the Balie.
